So last night I went to the symphony. It was my first time ever going alone, but it was worth it. So it was Elgar's Cello Concerto and the soloist Natalie Clein was incredible. The night started with Brahms' Symphony No. 3 in F major which was calm and very quite. Next came the celloist and she was so intense when she played it added that much more to her performance. You could feel the meaning of the music just by watching her expessions while she played. It was truely amazing to see. The last piece of the night was the perfect way to end, loud and intense with Alberto Ginastera's Estancia: Four Dances. It was hard to sit still the music was so catchy and fun. Definitely a great night of music! I am looking forward to my next symphony experience, Mozart's Requeim.
