Holi Festival of Colors

In Spanish Fork, Utah they have a Krishna festival of colors every year. You can go see their temple, hear music and the best part participate in the throwing of colors. I went with a co-worker and his friends and while down there ran into my brother, Scott. It was very interesting, lots of fun and super messy. When everyone releases the colors you can't see anything or really even breathe. The dust is corn starch with dye, and is suppose to wash out. Let's just say that it took a lot of work to clean my clothes and get all of it off my purse. Note to self, don't bring a purse because the colors were everywhere on everything. I added a few pictures from another site so you can see the full effect of the colors. The colors stuck on everything and if you notice me in a later picture, some guy exploded green on me and I turned a new shade. All in all a neat experience and well worth going to get that colorful and messy.

Wow, that's pretty crazy. I've never seen anything like that. It was so fun chatting yesterday. ;)
